後記:

天未光在十度的氣溫下，在五時十五分我們一行二人從赤徑營地出發上大浪坳 (在大家熟睡時) 看2002年的第一個日出。

在明月照地下，望見遠處漁光閃閃，原來漁夫已開始辛勤作業了。

不需大半句中我們便到達大浪坳了。我們吃了些水果便安坐寒風中等得黎明。

The pictures were taken at Sai Kung Tai Long Kau on New Year Day 2002.

Before dawn on a peaceful morning at 5:15am, two of us went up to Tai Long Kau from Chek Keng campsite to see the first sunlight in 2002.

It happened to be a full Moon night.  Since we were sheltered from the city lights, we were able to see all the Winter constellations on display all night long.  The Moon was so bright that early morning, such that it was not necessary to use our torch at all throughout our short walk to Tai Long Kau.

We waited until 7:15am when the sky suddenly got lighted by our glorious Sun.  The Sun shone the shores of Tai Long Wan and Ham Tin's golden beaches, and produced the magnificent scenery that can only be recorded in one's memory.
